Robert Thomas Swift - age 93, WW II U.S. Navy (Retired) Veteran and USS Utah -Pearl Harbor survivor, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Baptist Trinity Hospice House. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jean Culp Swift; daughters, Pam Wilson, Christie May, and Rosemary Phelps; sons, Glenn, Tony, Ken and Robert; and was a "Grand Daddy" to 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Ruth Hall and Kathleen Bozarth. A man of faith and with a heart of pure gold. Everyone would agree that's certainly a "Life you can hang your hat on." Services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 5th, at Forest Hill South, with visitation Tuesday, from 5-7 p.m. Memorials may be made to Forever Young Senior Wish, an organization that honors WWII Veterans.
