Robert W. Turner of Olive Branch, Mississippi, passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 85.

Robert was born on June 30, 1941, in Winona, Mississippi, to Emmet and Ercile Turner. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Barbara "Bonnie" McMullin; and his half-brothers, Joel Turner and Noel Turner.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Peggy Turner; his three sons and wives, Randy and Karen, Chris and Rupana, and Tim and Mary Beth; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild expected soon.

A faithful member of LaBelle Haven Baptist Church in Olive Branch, Robert served as a deacon, sang in the church choir, and faithfully served on the church security team for the past 13 years. His faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life, and he demonstrated that faith through his service to his church, his community, and his family.

Robert spent much of his career in the agricultural industry, working for companies including Deltapine, Sure Grow Seed, Local Seed, and Continental Eagle. He was respected for his knowledge, integrity, and strong work ethic, building lasting relationships with coworkers, customers, and friends throughout his career.

Above all, Robert loved his family. He expressed that love not only through his words but through his unwavering presence. Whether coaching Little League sports, cheering from the stands as a proud father and grandfather, making countless trips to the lake, or creating treasured memories on family vacations, Robert was always there. His quiet strength, steadfast support, and unconditional love left an enduring impression on everyone who knew him.

Robert will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, faithful Christian, and loyal friend. His legacy of faith, love, service, and devotion to family will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.
