Robert David Underwood, 73, passed away on Tuesday, January 07, 2025, in Collierville, TN. He was born in Dyersburg, TN, on December 06, 1951. After graduating high school, Robert joined the United States Navy and shortly after that he began his working career. Robert worked as a surgical assistant at Baptist Delta Medical and the VA in Memphis, TN. He married the love of his life Kathy on July 20, 1972. They shared 52 wonderful years together up until his passing. Robert loved to play golf, he really enjoyed hunting and fishing. What he loved the most was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as hanging out with his church group friends. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, two sons, Michael and Christopher, as well as his granddaughter, Rebecca. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Kathy, his grandchildren Chelsea Underwood and Robby Reyes, and three great grandchildren. Robert will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss him more than words can express.
