Roberta Ray Anderson, 87, was born on June 9, 1930 in Slayden, MS to the late, Wesley K. and Norma Stone Ray. She went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. Mrs. Anderson was retired after 35 years form Bell South Phone Company. She then began selling real estate. Mrs. Anderson was a longtime member, Sunday School teacher and Director of Home Bound Ministries at Bellevue Baptist Church. She more recently became a member of First Baptist of Collierville. Mrs. Anderson was also a member of the Pioneers. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton C. Anderson. She is survived by her children, Jerry Anderson (Judy), Beverly Dunkum (Ray), Barry Anderson (Aileen); four siblings, Hardy Ray, Roy Ray, Clark Ray, Irene Wisley; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Monday, July 31 until service begins at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East with interment following. Donations may me sent to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital or Life Choices.
