Roger Lee Hill of Hernando, MS was born on July 13, 1955 and went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2017 at the age of 62. He was a 1973 graduate of Messick High School in Memphis, TN, and he was a member of HeartLand Church in Southaven, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Juanita Hill and his nephew, Nick Linton. Roger is survived by his wife of 38 years, Beth Hill, daughter, Lane Barr (Lou); grandson, Braxton Barr and brother, Barry Hill (Shawn). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Luke Smith (Tamra), Cassie Smith, Jake Linton, Lucas Smith and many other close family and friends. Memorials may be sent to the Nick Linton Boys Home Fund c/o Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi or St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital. Visitation will be from 12:30pm to 2:00pm Tuesday, October 24 at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
