Roger D Knight Sr. was born December 26,1945 and went to be with the Lord on March 9,2025 at age 79.

Roger was a devoted Christian, husband, father, and granddaddy. He loved spending time with God, his family, and being outdoors. His faith in the Lord is what kept him strong and it showed in everything he did. Roger's life is hard to sum up in a few sentences due to he is so much more.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Priscilla Knight, brother Lewis Knight, his two sons Kevin Knight Sr. and Devin Knight, and his great grandson Memphis Fuller.

He leaves his wife Helen Knight, son Roger Knight Jr. ( April Knight)  10 grandchildren Shevy Partridge, Kevin Knight Jr., Summer Gilbert, Katelyn Bowman, Carrigan Berry, Destiny Coffey, Karlee Knight, Gavin Knight, Jessica Knight, Kaymen Knight, and 21 great grandchildren to cherish the memories.

Services will be held at

Forrest Hill East

2440 Whitten Rd. Memphis, TN

Thursday March 13,2025

Visitation 1pm and Service 2pm.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested to donate to St Jude or to his church Morris Chapel Baptist Church in Sommerville, TN.
