Roger Franklin Reese, 88, born in Quitman, MS passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at his home in Germantown, TN. He leaves behind one daughter, Lisa (John) Shackelford; one son, Michael Reese; two grandchildren, Alex Haven, Christopher Reese Shackelford; and one great grandchild, Mary Blythe Condon. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Betty Crosby Reese; his parents, Benjamin Franklin Reese and Rosie Etta Reese; one grandchild, John M. Shackelford Jr., and 12 siblings.

Roger was a devout Christian who spent a great amount of time reading his bible and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. In his younger years he was quite the Entrepreneur starting several small businesses from medical laboratory sales to insurance. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing golf, coaching youth baseball and cheering on his favorite baseball team, the Atlanta Braves.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Forest Hill Funeral Home East, 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.
