Roland Brooks Brown, 82, of Memphis,Tn. died Wednesday Nov. 11, 2020 at his home. The son of Emmett and Letha Brown, Brooks was born Jan. 31, 1938 in Water Valley, Ms.  He was retired after working for many years in the construction trade as a carpenter and supervisor.  He was a Freemason and loved music and western movies. Above all he loved his family.

Brooks is survived by son Micky Brown (Donna), daughters Deborah Marks (Steve), Marty Meredith and Gail

LeJeune, and sister Wilma Russum. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and dear friends Pat and Eddie Sharpe.

In addition to both of his parents, Brooks was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Carolyn Brown, granddaughter DeeDee Mathews, sisters Juanita Zurzoli, Judy Haire, and Rebecca Moore and brothers Jessie, Chesterfield, Calvin and Robert Brown.
