Rollin Leon "Red" Hoelscher of Germantown, TN, passed away on October 23, 2013, at his home. He was born on May 10, 1925, New Knoxville, Ohio, and he was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Joan Hoelscher, in 2011. He is survived by his brother Wally Hoelscher; daughters Deena Spitalnik and Della Maiorino; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Hoelscher was a chemical engineer who lived in many places around the world, and he called Germantown home for forty years. He was a member of Germantown Presbyterian Church and was an active participant in many aspects of church life. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Forest Hill East Cemetery.
