Ronald Irving Green, 87, of Bartlett passed away April 15, 2015. Ronald was a member of Great Oaks Church of Christ; he led singing in several churches of Christ in the Memphis area. He served in the United States Marine Corps for 8 years and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. Ronald was terminal manager for Kenosha Auto Transport in Memphis for 9 years and finally retired from the I.R.S. in 1992. He was educated in Memphis attending Rozelle Elementary, Bellevue Jr. High, graduated from Tech High and received his BBA from Memphis State in 1981. Ronald was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Minnie Lou Green. He is survived by his children, son, Ronald I. Green, Jr. (Janice); daughters, Theresa G. Nabors (Jerry) Patti G. Sims (Michael); four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 17 from 5-7 p.m. and services with Military honors will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 18 all at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park East on Whitten Road (901)382-1000
