Ronald Keith Newsom, affectionately known as "Aaron" Newsom to his friends and family, of Memphis, TN, aged 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born in Bethel Springs, TN on January 11, 1942, the youngest son of the late William Ellis Newsom and Betha Irene Smith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his two older brothers, JW and Glenn Newsom and his loving wife, Patricia Ann Smith Newsom. He leaves behind a son, Ronald Aaron Newsom (Lauren) of Arlington, TN, two grandsons, Aaron Newsom of Memphis, TN and Luke Newsom of Eads, TN, and one granddaughter, Payton Newsom of Eads, TN. He leaves behind three sisters: Jean Hardin, Carolyn Wharton, and Marilyn Hill and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park, 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN on July 1, 2024 with visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm and services to follow thereafter by Reverend Danny Berryhill. Interment will be at the Garden of Prayer.
