Ronald Trotter was born on May14, 1938 in Memphis TN to Renwick & Mary Rae Trotter. He left this world on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 7:22 am at Methodist North where he had been in ICU for over two weeks.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 48 yrs, Marion Trotter as well as a brother, Robert Trotter, a niece Vivian (Michele) Melton, and a daughter in--law, Betty (Sissy) Trotter.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Hall (Jeff); his sons, William Trotter (Sandra), Raymond Trotter (Sarah), and Michael Trotter (Angela); 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, James Trotter (Linda), and a sister, Margaret (Peggy) Compton; also a companion Betty Dooley, and several nieces, nephews, and friends..

Ronald worked for the Commercial Appeal for 19 yrs, before he was laid off. He then went into business with his brother James, and formed Raleigh Automotive for 16 yrs, before retiring.

He loved his family and loved taking care and feeding his horse, Patty and his 2 jacks, (Sammy and Mutt) and 1 Jenny (Rosie).

He will be greatly missed by all who loved him....
