Rosa Lee Cassini Houck, 92, of Senatobia, MS, joined her
husband, of 75 years, Wallace R. Houck, Sr. in heaven, Tuesday,
August 22, 2017. Rosa Lee was a staple in this rural community,
participating in many organizations through the years, such as
homemakers, sewing club, and a featured columnist in the local
newspaper. Rosa Lee was widely known as the "Jam Lady". She
was a regular at the Coldwater Trade Days with her home grown
and home made jams and jellies. Her passion and hobby of
embroidering quilts as gifts to newborns, family and friends have
touched the hearts of all. Rosa Lee leaves a long list of loving
family including a son, Wallace R. (Buddy) Houck, Jr. (Barbara),
of Middleton, TN.; Daughters, Rose Ann Wood, Knoxville, TN;
Betty Houck Holt (Terry), Senatobia, MS; Nancy Houck Dotson,
Memphis, TN; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and two
great great grandchildren. Rosa Lee was born in Memphis to Joe
Cassini, Sr. and Maria Cassini in December of 1925. She retired
from the Memphis Heart Association after 25 plus years of service
and an active member of Arkabutla Baptist Church. Family and
friends will gather to share memories 5-7 pm, Thursday with
