Rose Mary "Rosie" Newton, 92, formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away on February 15, 2018.  She was at Methodist North Hospice in Bartlett, TN at the time of her death, surrounded by her family.  She was born on April 26, 1925 in Memphis, TN to Seth and Addie Bailey, who are both deceased.  She retired as a Medical Transcriptor at Methodist North Hospital.  She was a member of the Cat Fancy Club, CFA, and AFC.  She leaves to cherish her memory 2 daughters, Elizabeth Couture (James); and Deborah Newton; and one grandson, Michael Pettit.  Visitation for Mrs. Newton will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, February18, 2018 at Forest Hill East, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN, 38133.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, February 19, 2018, at Forest Hill Midtown, 1661 Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, TN, 38106.  Those who wish to honor her memory are asked to make a donation in her name to the Methodist Alliance of Methodist Hospital.
