ROY LIGGETT, 90, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 at Methodist South Hospital with cardiac arrest. A WWII veteran, he served in the U.S. Army, 7th Calvary. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Katherine Marshall Liggett and daughter, Cheryl Liggett of Visalia, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cherry Road Baptist Church or the American Heart Association. Family and friends will gather to share memorials, 12-2 p.m., Tuesday, followed by services at 2 p.m., both at Forest Hill Funeral Home East on Whitten Road.
