Roy Maddox, Jr., 78, of Memphis, TN died Sunday, July 13, 2014. He was a retired brick mason and a member of Elliston Baptist Church. Mr. Maddox is survived by his wife of 57 years, Eloise Maddox; daughter, Saundra McElhannon (Gary) of Hernando, MS; son, Kenneth Maddox (Tina) of Memphis, TN; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Norma Benefield and brothers, Dwayne Maddox and Phillip Maddox all of New Albany, MS. The family requests any memorials be sent to Elliston Baptist Church. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 A.M., Wednesday at the funeral home with interment to follow.
