Horn Lake - Roy William Sipes, of Horn Lake, MS, died at his home on March 10, 2012, at the age of 90. He was a member of Horn Lake United Methodist Church. Roy served in the Army during World War II. He was a craftsman carpenter for many years. He had a deep love of music and dancing, and together with his beloved wife Elizabeth Ann, enjoyed performing at senior centers. He is survived by his daughters, Bonnie Wong, of Eureka Springs, AR, Linda Wayman, of Southaven, MS, Betty Stanley, of Cordova, TN, his grandson, Jason White, his granddaughter, Anna Quin Tamilla-Wayman, his great-grandson, Tyler White, and family members Shawn Ritchie, Kerry Barnes, and Patrick Barnes. He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Marie Reynolds. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Horn Lake Humane Shelter. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Forest Hill Funeral Home South with interment to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery South. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
