RUBY JEAN BRUCKNER SCOTT, more affectionately known at "Scottie" to those who loved her, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2014. She was 91 years old. Scottie was a longtime member of Bellevue Baptist Church. She had a strong love for the Lord she served and in turn was loved by all who came in contact with her. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Thomas (Larry); two grandsons, Craig Thomas (Angie), Chris Thomas; three great-grandsons, Sam, Drew, and W II Thomas, and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be held in the chapel of Bellevue Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 26 at Noon, with Visitation to begin at 11 a.m. The family requests that all memorials be sent to Moriah House of the Memphis Union Mission.
