Ruby Kissinger, 75, of Bartlett, TN passed peacefully at the home of her daughter on January 11, 2024. Ruby was born in Jacksonville, FL on May 3, 1948. She was the daughter of William and Mildred Law.  Ruby was the devoted wife to Arthur Yow Jr, a Major in the United States Marine Corps. She raised three children (Vaughn, Scott, and Misty) often moving every few years as were the demands of a military family. Once settling in Millington, TN, she proudly served the Shelby County Sheriff Office until her retirement in 2009.  In 1992, Ruby married David Stroud and happily welcomed two loving daughters to the family (Belynda and Jennifer). Ruby and David were a sweet, fun loving couple who shared many special interests.  They loved to competitively barbecue, but their greatest fulfillment was found in tirelessly serving the Bolton Full Gospel Church and their numerous ministries. After David's unfortunate passing, Ruby enjoyed the things that always brought her lifelong happiness, developing loyal friendships and spending valuable time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In 2018, Ruby married Harold E. Kissinger, known as Champ to friends and family. They became avid travelers experiencing many new and interesting places together. Anyone who met Ruby knew her to be profoundly giving, spectacularly loyal and a true believer in Jesus Christ.  We will forever miss her welcoming smile, great sense of humor, and heartfelt prayers before holiday meals. Ruby is survived by her children, Vaughn Yow and his wife Misty, Scott Yow and wife Melanie, Misty Allen M.D. and fiancé Peter Gardner M.D., Belynda Dwyer J.D. and husband Judge Tim Dwyer, Jennifer Bowers and husband Kelly; grandchildren, Taylor Pinkel (DJ), Trevor, MarLee, Krista, Alex and Bryce Yow, Jenny and Abby Yow, Trey and Keaton Allen, Conor Dwyer, Kyle Dunbar (Miranda), Seth Allen, Liberty and Truman Carter; great grandchildren, Elea Yow and MJ Pinkel.
