Ruby Faye Jackson Nichols, age 96, passed away March 19, 2023 at her residence in Dickson, Tn. She was born November 16, 1926 in Cooter, Mo. to the late Ervin A. Jackson and Claris J. Faulkner Jackson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Freddie B. Nichols; her brother, A. Wayne Jackson; her sister, Melba J. Gonser; and daughter, Vickie Liberto White.

She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Green (William), Kay Walker (Joe), and Phyllis Stallings (Paul); 11 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

Ms. Ruby was a woman of faith who lived out, "Be strong and courageous in the Lord." Her favorite verse was Ephesians 2:8-9, For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; not of works, lest man should boast.
