Ruby Pauline Thompson, 95, of Florence, AL, formerly of Memphis, TN passed away on January 18, 2024.

Ms Thompson was a dedicated, lifelong Christian. She was a former member of Quito United Methodist Church in Millington, TN, and a member of Middleton United Methodist Church in Middleton, TN.

Ruby's hobby was making beautiful quilts and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Daniel Thompson; also two sisters and three brothers.

She leaves two sons, Les Thompson (Mary) of Summerville, SC and Terry Thompson (Beth) of Florence, AL; one daughter, Melinda Schneider (Tom) of Council Bluff, IA; four grandchildren, Sara Thompson , Daniel Thompson, Justin Schneider and Olivia Schneider; also one brother, Cecil Goodwin of Sand Springs, OK.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 A.M. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with Graveside service to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, East on Friday, January 26.
