Mrs. Rudy Fay (Sherfey) Fancher, 89, passed away on June 10, 2021, at her home in Hernando, MS.  She was born July 9, 1931, in Nettleton, MS to parents Robert Emmett and Annie Lou Sherfey.  She was a lifelong resident of Memphis, TN.  She was a homemaker and loved gardening, traveling and being with family and friends.  She was a longtime member of Brookside Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert Fancher for 69 years, their son Phillip Fancher of Memphis, daughter Deborah Johnson (Barry) of Hernando, MS, grandson Robert McKnight (Sarah) and two great grandsons, Coen and Brody McKnight.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Mary Burgess, Alice Jaudon, Diane Sherfey, Dorothy Seeley; three brothers, Glenn Sherfey, Jacob Sherfey an Emmett Sherfey and daughter in law, Jane Fancher.
