Rufus Ray Cowsert, 82, fof Germantown, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 9, 2017. He was a retired Dispatcher for Yellow Freight for 46 ½ years and an Army Veteran. Mr. Cowsert also was a member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church and a volunteer at St. Francis - Park. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ada Cowsert; daughter, Janice Stahl (Paul); and son, David Cowsert (Julie). Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 13 at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 14 at Kirby Woods Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to the church.
