Ruth Evelyn Cook, 93, passed away on April 10, 2019 in Germantown, TN.  She had been retired from Forest Hill Funeral Home, South, where she had helped many families.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Cook; one son, John E. Cook; her parents, Holmes and Mabel Williams; and one brother, Carlton H. Williams.  Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lynda (Eddie) Bloodworth of Germantown; son, Jerry A (Debi) of Lakeland, TN; and brother, Ira Williams of South Carolina.  Mrs. Ruth had been blessed with eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.  Visitation with her family will be on Monday, April 15, 2019, from 1:00~2:00 p.m., with her funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Whitten Road.  Internment will be Forest Hill Funeral Home, South
