Ruth Kilgore Efnor, 98, passed away at home August 1, 2021, surrounded by family. Ruth was born July 23, 1932 in Big Creek, MS. After graduating high school, she moved to Memphis to attend Business school. She began attending First United Methodist Church where she met her husband, Paul Efnor. Together Ruth and Paul traveled, raised two children, and owned a business, Anchor Electronics. Ruth was a member of First United Methodist Church for over 70 years. Her favorite past time was gardening. She maintained a beautiful lawn at home and at church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul. She is survived by her children; Danny Efnor and Karen Efnor Williams, five grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Her services will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, 204 North 2nd Street, Memphis, TN. Burial will take place after services at Forest Hill South Cemetery, 2425 East Holmes Road, Memphis, TN 38118.
