Ruth Braden Parker Lipper, age 82, of Memphis, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 16, 2017. She was born June 16, 1935. She was a secretary at Peabody Baptist Churchfor over 32 years, and after retirement she attended Colonial Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and was an avid fan of the University Of Memphis Tigers. She was preceded in death by husband, John Lipper; her brothers Quince, Buel; and sister, Bonnie. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Tim Lipper (Jennifer); a daughter Tamra Harris (Roger); sisters Mary Robertson and Jeannie Barger; brothers Cliff, Sam, and Jerry Parker; four grandchildren; Tamra Harris (Jeff), Julie Falanga (Tony), Parker Harris (Amanda), and Taylor Harris (Hayden); five great-grandchildren; Elizabeth, Trey, Brooklyn, Libby, Porter; and her best friend, Linda Wamble. Visitation for Mrs. Lipper will be held Tuesday 12/19, 5:00 - 7:00 PM and her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 20, 2017 with burial interment to follow.
