RUTH MONTGOMERY McMURRAY, 92, passed away Wednesday, December 18, at Methodist North Hospital. She was born July 21, 1921, in Etta, Mississippi to the late Howard and Lillie Morris Montgomery. Survivors include her son, Michael McMurray of the home; grandson Joe (Becky) McMurray of Knoxville; and grandson, John McMurray of Memphis; two great-grandchildren; an expected great-grandson in February; a sister Fairy Wells Strahl of San Diego; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Neal S. McMurray, one sister and four brothers. Visitation will be at Forest Hill East Funeral Home on Whitten Road at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, December 26, followed by services at 10 a.m. and burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
