Ruth Mae Moore Thompson, 88, of Olive Branch, MS, went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2017. Mrs. Thompson was born on November 23, 1928. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, B.G. Thompson; her parents Clyde and Annie Moore; and siblings: Tommy and Raymond Moore and Sister Stella Steed. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her four children: Rita Giannini (Chris deceased) of Arlington, TN.; Norma Chanudomchok (Nick) of San Diego, CA; Michael Thompson (Laura) of Red Banks, MS.; Steven Thompson (Lisa) of Knoxville, TN. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Although she worked outside the home for many years, her main and most important job was being a wife, mother and homemaker. Visitation will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South, 2545 E. Holmes Rd. on Saturday, January 21, from 11:30-1:00 p.m. with service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Red Banks Cemetery in Red Banks, MS. All are welcome to come and celebrate Ruth''s life.
