Southaven - Ruth Elizabeth Morris, 89, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Ms. Morris is retired from the Federal Reserve Bank. She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Morris, a daughter, Cheryl Ann Hodges and a granddaughter, Stacy Doyle. She leaves three sons, John R. Morris, Philip Earl Morris and Michael G. Shears; eight grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 13 at Forest Hill South with visitation from 12:30 to 2 p.m. The family requests that memorials are sent to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
