Ruth Lorene Ragle Ivie 91 of Cordova Tn. joined her husband and family in heaven on June 23, 2016 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years "Bunk" Ivie, her parent''s Edwin Garland and Tannie Margret Ragle and her 8 brothers and sisters. For the last 60 years she was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and sewing. She also enjoyed spending time with her many water aerobics friends from the Germantown Athletic Club. She is survived by her son James (Steve) Ivie, daughter in law Shelia Ivie, 3 grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, and Hunter and great granddaughter Savannah. She was a member of the Cordova Baptist Church family. Visitation will be from 3-5 PM on Tuesday, June 28 at Forest Hills Cemetery, 2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis TN. 38133 (901-382-1000) with a chapel service to immediately follow at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers a donation to Cordova Baptist Church P.O. Box 174, 1126 C Rd, Cordova Tn. 38088 would be a meaningful memorial.
