Ruth M. Thompson, 90, of Memphis, TN peacefully passed away in Ashland City, TN on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.

Ruth was a faithful member of The Church of Full Gospel foundation for over 40 years. During her career she worked as a dental assistant and was a devoted caregiver to many.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Thompson; her parents, Edson Lape and Ruth Viola Youngman, also one great grandson.

She is survived by her three children, Steven William Thompson, Bart Wayne Thompson, and Angela Lynn Thompson; three grandchildren, Steve William Thompson Jr., Misty Leigh Baldwin, and Ashley Brooke Johnson (spouse James Johnson); also 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on Tuesday, March 26 at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East. Burial will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
