Sally Pannell May, 89, of Olive Branch, MS, went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2016. She was born on January 29, 1927 in Blue Springs, MS to the late, Edgar "Pop" and Addie Pannell. Mrs. May retired from the National Bank of Commerce after many years and was an avid Memphis Tigers Basketball fan. She was a former member of Southland Baptist Church and more recently a member of Hope Baptist Church in Olive Branch. Mrs. May was preceded in death by her husband, Bill May; and brothers, Floyd Pannell, Jack Pannell. She is survived by two daughters, Sheri Pecukonis (Nick), Connie Bailey (Bill); son, Don May (Terri); sister, Faye Greer; nine grandchildren, Brooke Helms, Nathan Bailey, Patrick Bailey, Chad Pegram, Grahame Pegram, Barbara Hill, Beverly Davis, Bobby Echlin, Andy Ballard; four great grandchildren, Harper Helms, Breckin Helms, Avery Bailey and Bryson Pegram. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 until service begins at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East. Interment will be in Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens Cemetery following. In lieu of flowers, family request donations made to the Alzeheimer''s Association.
