Samuel Edward Cooper, Jr., 78, of Memphis, TN passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at Baptist Trinity Hospice House in Collierville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Pearl Cooper; brothers, Howard, Charles and David; sisters, Bonnie Cooper, Frances Simpson, Janet Acuff and Opal Tallent. Mr. Cooper is survived by his loving wife Ruth Eddins Cooper and son Ryan Edward Cooper (Lindsey Williams); sisters, Lillian Pickens (Bud), Mildred Braden (Fred), Grace Cooper, Sue Dawn and Faye Cooper (John Gentry), all of Knoxville, TN; sisters in law, Nancy Cooper of Knoxville, TN, Ruby Evans (Jim) of Olive Branch, MS, Dianna Michalik of NC; brother-in-law, Joe Eddins (Marilyn) of Cheyenne, WY, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Forest Hill Funeral Home South. Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home with interment to follow.
