Samuel Wesley Phillips (Wes), 39, was called to his heavenly home too soon December 13.  Wes was born March 17, 1982, in Memphis, TN, to Debby and Sam Phillips.  He married the love of his life, Lauren Lyon Phillips, in 2006 and was an incredibly proud father to Ethan Wesley and Thomas Aidan.

Wes embraced life with passion for the things he loved most – family, music, friends.  He loved his boys with his whole heart; they were his world.  His nieces and nephews were lights in his life; memories from Heber Springs to the beach will always shine brightly in their hearts.  His smile, his passion, his humor will forever be his marks on all of our hearts.  He was a shooting star.

Wes was preceded in death by his mother, Debby.  Left to cherish his memory in addition to his beloved sons and wife are his father, Sam Phillips; his sisters Tiffany (Tommy) Couch of Jackson, MS, Lesle (Matthew) Heinz of Memphis, Ashlee Phillips (Will Brewer) of Memphis, Courtney (Stephen) Smith of Frisco, TX; his nephews and nieces: John Thomas and Peyton Couch, Carter and Sam Heinz, Coby and Presley Bennett, Addison, Graham and Sadie Smith and Addison Lyon; loving cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law and too many friends to count.

The family requests that memorials in his honor be made to Harbor House – 1979 E. Alcy Road – Memphis, TN 38114
