Samuel George Townsley, Sr., 87, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bonnie; his son, Samuel G. Townsley, Jr., (DruAnne); three grandchildren, Kristen, Trey and Alex. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark G. Townsley. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude''s Children''s Research Hospital. The family will receive friends, 11 am-1 pm, Monday, December 15, 2014, followed by services at 1 pm, both at Forest Hill Funeral Home-Midtown.
