Sandra E. Ballard, 66, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2020 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. She was born on July 16, 1954. During her lifetime, she was blessed with three sons and three granddaughters. Sandra, aka "Momma" and "Nana", was the epitome of a proud mother and truly cherished her family. She will be remembered by all that knew her for being selfless, nurturing and having a heart of pure gold filled with unconditional love.

She is survived by two sons, Micheal Childress and Jeremy (Amber) Childress, both of Memphis; a "sister" Sharon Phebus; and three grandchildren, Abigail, Autumn and Aubrie Childress

Sandra was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Wayne Childress, her mother, Francis M. Love and an aunt and uncle who helped raise her, Alonzo and Louise Hamilton.

A private graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Home & Memorial Park East.
