Sandra Gail McLemore- Houston, 75, of Southaven Mississippi peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024.  Sandra was preceded in death by her son Gregory Houston and her devoted husband of 56 years, William "Bill" Houston. She is survived by her son, William "Doug" Houston, Christopher Houston , four grandson and one granddaughter.

Sandra's legacy extends beyond her family as she was affectionately knowing as "Mimi" to many Southaven residents. She founded and operated Bright Beginnings daycare on Swinnea Road, where she touched the lives of numerous children and families. Sandra's passion extended to her role as a teacher at Hope Sullivan, where she lovely guided her students. Her dedication to family was unparalleled and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.

Sandra's profound impact on the community and her commitment to creating lasting memories for her family will forever be cherished and remembered. As someone once said, "You are put on Earth to create memories for your children". Sandra fulfilled these purposes wholeheartedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth and cherished memories that will be treasured by her family and all who knew her.
