IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sandra J
Lacy
December 7, 1946 – July 24, 2025
Sandra J. Lacy, 78, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Millington, Tennessee. Sandra brought warmth, strength, and comfort to all who knew her.
Sandra had a deep love for animals and people alike, and tried to help anyone in need. Her compassion was reflected in the kindness she carried in every part of her life. Sandra also had a sweet tooth. She was a wonderful cook, known for her famous banana pudding that was always a family favorite tradition.
Sandra is lovingly remembered by her devoted daughter, Jamie Ridge, by her son-in-law, Tucker Ridge, and by her cherished grandchildren, Ash and Ivy Ridge, who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind her dear sisters, May Stamper and Mattie Kisiel, with whom she shared many laughs and close bonds over the years, and a brother-in-law Ted Kisiel. Sandra's fond nieces and nephews, Michael Stamper, Justine Kottmann, Steven Kisiel, and Cassie Kottmann, also held a very special place in her heart.
She is preceded in death by her adored father, Josephus Grimes; her beloved husband, John Lacy; her cousin and confidant Ray Grimes; her loyal friends Midge & Dale Rainey, her brother-in-law, James Lacy; and her brother-in-law, Joseph Stamper, whom she loved to play tricks on and tell jokes to, always bringing humor and light into the lives of those around her.
Sandra's kind heart, quiet strength, and unwavering love for her family will always be remembered. She was a place of laughter and unconditional love — a true reflection of the generous spirit she carried throughout her life. She will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who love her.
