Obituary

Sandra Wells, born 07-15-1947, passed away peacefully at her home in Eudora, MS, on June 23, 2026.

A wife, sister, mother and friend to many, Sandra Wells was all of these things. In her passing, she leaves behind her husband of 39 years, Kenneth Wells, her last sibling William Tatum and son Kevin Clark and his wife Brandie Clark. Sandra Wells never met a stranger. She could strike up a conversation with anyone. Sandra was loving, caring and compassionate to all, but it really showed when it came to her family.

Sandra gave 28 years of hard work and dedication to Federal Express. Upon her retirement, she began a new career. She became a professional shopper. In fact, she was so devoted to finding the absolute best deals to be had, if you went shopping with her, you probably only went once. She had no quit in her when she was shopping. You can bet, if she went into a store, she knew at least one employee if not more.

When Sandra wasn’t shopping, she was a member of a local dance group that consisted of retired locals from the Hernando area. They could often be seen dancing at nursing homes for the residents. She loved to make people smile. If you ever attended The Dickens on the Square at the Hernando Courthouse, you may have seen her dancing on the front lawn. She loved to make people smile.

If you ever met my mom you were very fortunate. She was my mom, Kenneth’s wife and Williams big sister. We will all miss her, but never forget her. Till we meet again. I love you mom. ❤️
