Sara Lynn Ice, many knew her as Sue Cockrum, 70, passed away in Germantown, TN, at Methodist Germantown Hospital on March 24, 2020. Mrs. Ice was a retired data entry operator of the Internal Revenue Service and lived in Memphis, TN. She was a faithful member of Bellevue Baptist Church where she served in many different ministries including VBS (Camp Outrageous), door greeter, and many others. She was born on April 11, 1949, in Dancy, MS, to her parents James L. Cockrum and Dollie Mae Cockrum (Allred). Mrs. Ice was preceded in death by her parents, James L and Dollie M Cockrum, three brothers, Donald Cockrum, James M. Cockrum, and Ray Cockrum. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 29 years, Kenneth Ice, her son, Steven W. Hayes (Jaime), her sister, Peggy Joyce Cockrum, her stepdaughter Kristine Benadum (Tom), and four beautiful grandchildren she loved and cherished, Steven W. Hayes Jr., Abigail Hayes, Kaitlyn Benadum, and Kelly Benadum.
