Sarah Minga Overton, 94, pole-vaulted over the Pearly Gates into Heaven on October 8, 2019,  and welcomed home by her loving husband, James M. Overton, SR, her parents, brothers and sister, numerous friends and relatives joined the celebration.  Cheering her on back home are her four children, Jim Overton, JR, Mary Helen Conner (Frankie), Mariah Beck (Don), and John Overton (Deb), five grandchildren; Bekki Dunlap (Jim), James Gentry (Leslie), Angelia Sanders (Joel), Coley Zach Conner, Carson Conner, and eleven great-grandchildren; James, Sarah, Adeline, William, Eva, George and Thomas Dunlap, Gillian, Arimus, Annalyse Sanders and Scarlett Gentry.  Visitation with her family will be on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 9:00 am~10:00 am with her funeral service following at 10:00 am at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Whitten Road. 901-382-1000
