Sarah Jane Smith, 93, passed on December 13, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 58 years, Georges Winther Smith; parents, Eva and Bernie Schaedle.  She is survived by nephews, Dennis and Paul Schaedle; stepson, George Smith; the Dennis Rice & Linda Rice family members, and friends.  Retired from First Tennessee Bank, she and Georges were lifelong members of Central Christian Church, lending their voices to the choir.  She beautifully sang 'Sweet Little Jesus Boy' at Christmas, and brought sunshine to all.  Funeral services will be held at Forest Hill East on Whitten Road on Monday, December 17th, 2018, with visitation at 12:00 p.m. and service at 1:00 p.m. .
