Sgt. Waukeatha Yorel Brooks' Obituary
Sgt. Waukeatha Yorel Brooks, US Army Retired, 42, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015. He leaves his father, Leroy Strickland; his brother, Meshack Strickland and his sister, Omar Williams. Sgt. Brooks served his country for 20 years in the US Army. Relatives and friends will gather to share memories Thursday, 5-7 pm at Forest Hill Funeral Home, Midtown. Services will be 12 noon, Friday at Greater White Stone Missionary Baptist Church, with interment at 2 pm, at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
