It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shelby Jean Dancy, beloved Mother, Grandmother and friend on Thursday, January 23, 2025. She was born on December 04, 1939, in Corinth, MS. She was a lifelong resident of Memphis and was known for her dedication and faith to the Lord, dedication to her family, sense of humor, kindness, and beautiful smile.

She is survived by her daughters Teresa Kay Williams and Pamela Diane Younger and husband Chuck Younger, her grandson Joshua Allen Hall and wife Ginny Hall and brother Wesley LaDale Hawkins and wife Anita Hawkins.

Shelby will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss her more than words can express.
