Shelia Louise Walker McBride, 67, of Memphis, TN and of Grand Prairie TX, passed away on February 19, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Shelia was born on October 1 6, 1955 to James Benjamin Walker and Virginia Louise Walker in Memphis, TN. Before graduating from high school, she landed her first job working in the dental field and continued in this field for the rest of her working career.

In 1982 she met Al McBride who loved her dearly , and they wed in 1984 . They moved to Grand Prairie, TX in 1985 where they remained until 2018 when she moved back to the Memphis area due to her illness.

Shelia loved the LORD and spent a significant amount of time volunteering at Crossroads Christian C hurch in Grand Prairie in service to the LORD. Upon return ing to the Memphis area , she became a member of Gateway Baptist C hurch in Atoka , TN and was Baptized. She loved to travel and enjoyed time in the United Kingdom and Spain.

Shelia was predeceased by her mother Virginia, her father James, and her brother Stanley Walker of Memphis. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband of 38 years Al McBride Jr. , her Sister In-law Becky Walker, her two nieces , Tina Ayres ( Scott) and their children, Jennifer Robbins ( Randy) and their children. Her stepsons James McBride, Charles McBride (Tammy ), and John McBride (Macie) . Dear friends Daniel Bales (Rhonda) her G odson Derek, and Tony Ther i ault (Julie) her G oddaughter Ashley.
