On Friday, July 20, 2018, Shelia Crawford Speck has passed away at 66 years of age.

A native Memphian and graduate of Memphis State University, she was a member of the Rainbow Girls, Order of the Eastern Star, and Save Our Shell. For 43 years, she taught class piano with the Memphis City Schools, and, to her recent co-workers, she was known and loved as Skippy because of her boundless energy and enthusiasm.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Daniel (Jai) and Michael (Stefanie), grandchild, Connor, and mother, Bettye.

She travels to be with her youngest son Charles in the arms of her father, CB Crawford.

Visitation (Tuesday, July 24, 5p – 7p) and Services (Wednesday, July 25, 2p) will be held at Forest Hill East, 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN.

Memorials in her name may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital.
