Sherman Gene Lucas, 76, of Somerville, TN passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 21st, 2025. Sherman was an over the road truck driver for many years. Since retiring he enjoyed fishing, Texas Roadhouse rolls, & spending time with his dogs, Blue & Gus. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Cindy; his parents, Nathaniel & Bessie. Sisters, Evelyn & Marie; Brothers, L.D., Billy, Charles, Dale, & Cliff. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Marlena (Dylan) & Carla (Gracie): granddaughters, Emily & Nora. Brothers, Curtis (Ann) & Joseph (Carol): Sister, Shirley & special friend, Rita Brumbelow. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th from 12:30-2:00 with funeral services at 2:00. Both to be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-Midtown.
