Sherrye Skipper Yaun, 58, of Germantown, TN, went to be with the Lord peacefully surrounded by her family on October 6, 2014. She worked for ServiceMaster, was a member of Colonial Baptist Church, and member of Mizpah Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. Sherrye was a courageous and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a devoted fan of the Tigers, Cardinals, and any activity involving her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Yaun is survived by her husband of 36 years, Eddie Yaun; children, Dr. Jason (Katie) Yaun, Dr. Sarah (Brad) Morris; brother, Fred (Sandy) Beacham; and four grandchildren, Drew, Allie, Hayes, and Hadley, who affectionately called her GiGi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Gloria Skipper, and her sister, Patricia Trentman. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 9 and service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, October 10 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to WINGS Cancer Foundation at the West Clinic.
