Shirley K. Barnett, 76, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 17, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Gerald BarnettÍ daughter, Ginger BarnettÍ and her parents, Dale and Mildred Kendall. She is survived by her son, Steve BarnettÍ grandchildren: Lauren Barnett, Christen Mallett (Chase), Jeremy Howard, Braden Howard, and Hannah HowardÍ three brothers: Larry Kendall (Joyce), Ed Kendall, and Ray Kendall (Pat)Í and son-in-law Jerry Howard. Ms. Barnett was a teacher with DeSoto County Schools for 32 years. She was a member at Longview Heights Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday February 19, 2016 with a funeral service Saturday morning at 11:00 am. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill, South on Holmes Rd.
