Shirley Angella Boyd, 87, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 in Gallaway, TN. She leaves behind three daughters, Paulette Byrum, Robin Thayer (Scott) and Beth Kitchen; five grandchildren, Nikki Byrum, Jani Ridenhour (Ross), Abby Eijken (Thom), Katie Myers and Rorvik Kitchen; and six great grandchildren, Addison Byrum, Max Moore, Mae Moore, Brown Ridenhour, Griffin Eijken and Leon Burns. She is preceded in death by husband of 35 years, James LeRoy Boyd; her parents, Malcolm and Beulah Crausby; three brothers, Don Crausby, Bing Crausby and Max Crausby; and one grandchild, James Briggs.

Shirley retired from nursing after 35 years of service with Baptist Memorial Hospital. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, doing puzzles, listening to music and catching up on her tv shows and news.  Shirley also had a great passion and talent for her favorite pastime, gardening.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 1:00-2:00p.m. with funeral services starting at 2:00p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home East. Burial will follow at Forest Hill East Cemetery 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.
